Hello I am Flo, the founder of Headwaters, I bring well over two decades of experience working across different countries and continents, in roles ranging from front-line nursing, management, education, and leadership. Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. My natural curiosity and drive for improvement have enabled me to build meaningful connections while gaining an understanding of both subtle and more obvious cultural differences. This insight has continually guided my development, helping me to support and enable leaders to reach their full potential.
My background as a nurse has profoundly shaped my approach to coaching, particularly in developing people and managing conflict. During my career, I’ve seen the power of good person-centred and outcome-driven leadership affecting people and teams' abilities to reach their potential. As part of working in complex situations within ever-changing landscapes, conflict is inevitable. I have witnessed the positive impact on learning and growth through constructive conflict, but also the damaging effects of unresolved, destructive conflict. This experience motivates me to help individuals and teams resolve conflicts in a way that encourages growth and collaboration.
I am a qualified Level 7 Executive Coach, Mentor, Clinical Supervisor, AOD Team Coach, and AOD Team Performance Inventory Assessor. These qualifications, alongside my MSc in Nursing Leadership and NHS Leadership Academy achievements, provide a strong foundation for the work I do as a registered nurse and coach.
